Once upon a time, Google set out to deliver a pure Android experience. The result of that effort was the Nexus line of Android devices. In January 2010, they released the Nexus One (by HTC), 11 months later, the Nexus S (by Samsung), and just a few short weeks ago, the Galaxy Nexus (also by [...]
Way way back (actually only a couple months ago), two Gingerbread leaks (Android 2.3.3) dropped for the Samsung Captivate (Galaxy S for AT&T), I897UCKF1. Improvements included significant performance enhancements, better battery life, and a more Gingerbread-like look and feel. These early leaks while relatively stable for a leak, still lacked the polish needed for [...]
Last week, Samfirmware leaked two Gingerbread (Android 2.3.3) builds for the Samsung Captivate (SGH-I897), an Android device offered on AT&T. Overall, its a good step in the right direction.
AT&Ts first “4G” aka HSPA+ phone, the HTC Inspire 4G, will be released next week, February 13th. Review units have already made it in the hands of bloggers and the speed tests are really interesting.
